After two highly acclaimed trio albums and several collaborations (Opera around James Ellroy’s universe on the Radio France label, electro funk rereading of Don Cherry’s music with a.o. "Gary Gritness Acoustronics"), French saxophonist Vincent Thekal proposes a return to his first love for jazz and swing. With this quintet, composed from the gratin of the Belgian and European jazz scene, Vincent Thekal presents a repertoire, chosen for the occasion, dedicated to the swing genre.
