Postponed - Tom Bourgeois "Murmures"

Very active on the jazz scene in Belgium and abroad (tours in China with the Tab and collaborations, with the Hungarian singer Veronika Harcsa), in 2018, Tom Bourgeois got himself to a double album creation as a leader and composer. “Murmures” is the result of a long writing work for this acoustic atypical quartet that he formed in 2016 to put value into his compositions.

The project shows a real composition and arrangement’s work. Every title highlights the construction into duo, trio or quartet’s form, to explore a maximum the richness of the sound. The mesmerizing sounds of the voice, the saxophone, the guitar and the accordion explore a poetic atmosphere, mixing sweetness and melancholy. “Murmures”, like the warm breath of someone familiar that whispers in your ear… The concert will mark the release of an augmented version of the first album in vinyl form.
