Jazz Station x MΣAL Collectif "L’espace"

From February to June 2025, and still on a bimonthly schedule, the M∑AL collective and the Jazz Station will continue their collaboration in the form of evenings dedicated to improvisation. The laboratory spirit that underpins this project around three axes – dance, music and conference – will encourage the protagonists of the collective to explore in greater depth the possible interactions between speaking and artistic performance, in order to break down the barriers between “thought” and “action”, “speech” and “performance”, “body” and “spirit”... BODY & SOUL ! This second period will focus on the themes of space (February) and spirituality (April & June). The M∑AL collective (created by saxophonist Damien Brassart and dancer-actress-per- former Célia Rorive) brings together jazz musicians and contemporary dancers who explore and seek out various avenues of connection using improvisation techniques and tools.
