Eve Beuvens Solo & Angels Trio

From solo to septet, Eve Beuvens has composed for different types of formations. This time, it was in poetry that she found her inspiration. Challenged by the humor and the dreamlike character of poets such as Robert Frost or Edna Millay, she used several of their poems as starting points for this new repertoire. To interpret it, in addition to a voice, training with varied sound palettes, allowing flexibility and extraordinary combinations was necessary. She immediately thought of teaming up with Lynn Cassiers on vocals and electronics and Lennart Heyndels on double bass. Together, they create sometimes disconcerting, sometimes comforting or swinging atmospheres, imbued with humor and from which spring surprising images.
