It’s not love at first sight, but rather the common passion and love of jazz that brought Tutu Puoane and Ewout Pierreux closer together. From their first meeting during a rehearsal in Louvain, in 2003, they formed a beautiful musical alliance.
The classical and jazz formation of Ewout Pierreux and the rhythmic background brought by Tutu Puoane formed a unique blend of South African swing and sonorities, rooted in American jazz, their first love.
Their appearances in duet are not so frequent, but each time a magic arises, which makes their musical link even stronger.
