Tim Finoulst Trio ft. Bert Joris

The musicians of Tim Finoulst’s trio have nothing to prove on the Belgian and international jazz scene, but they find in this line-up the musical place that suits them best. They are inspired not only by jazz, but also by blues, folk and world music. In the melodic compositions of the hands of Tim and Martijn, the story is very prolific. The first album titled "Narrative" was based on the music of Tutu Puoane and Ewout Pierreux. It was rated album of the week on the website Jazz in Belgium and got 5 stars in Jazzmozaïek magazine. During this concert, the trio will present its brand new opus "Tender Machine"! For the occasion, they invited the famous trumpet player Bert Joris from Antwerp. His warm tone and his great sense of lyricism have made him one of the absolute highlights of the Flemish scene and makes him easily recognizable among other Belgian trumpeters. A season opening concert not to be missed!
