Winter

The year 2024 begins with good news: the Jazz Station is being strengthened by an increasing program contract (multi-year subsidy contract for certain cultural operators in FWB)!
After 18 (!) years of tossing and turning, our team is secure and will be able to strengthen itself, investments can be made in the building and in the quality of reception, and we will be able to guarantee fairer remuneration for the artists involved in our seasons.
It is therefore with great joy that we can announce to you, not a plethora of new features, but rather the realization of what we work on daily: the broadcast of a high-quality scene, with a dense and varied proposal of activities ; support, without compromise, for (young) creation; the development of a solid and caring network of rooms and structures, at national and European level, in order to reflect and act together on concrete actions in terms of well-being at work, sustainable development and by working towards a better representation of genders and cultures; the guarantee of inclusive, democratic and plural access to culture, so that each individual finds their place. Our position has been clear and firm for a long time now. As a subsidized place, we have a duty, that of returning the money allocated to us in a poetic, gentle and social way: the people’s money must, whatever happens, return in one way or another. another to the people. It is therefore essential to offer you a curious experience, quality concerts, low prices, and an open approach - of heart and mind. And under another prism, to offer an unconditional welcome to the different artists welcomed. We let you discover all this in detail in the pages of this program.
Our entire team wishes you a year 2024 as radiant as possible, and above all says a big thank you, the thank you that comes from the bottom of our hearts, you who support art and in particular live music. As we always say, if you like this place, tell your friends about it. This is the most important support one can receive. And if you don’t like it... tell your enemies!
