Norma Winstone with Alain Pierre + guest Barbara Wiernik

Since bursting onto the London jazz scene in 1966, Norma Winstone has worked with many British and European innovators. His unique voice defined an entire era of vocal jazz, from reimaginings of the Great American Songbook to more abstract excursions in vocal timbre. She has won countless awards including a Grammy Award, the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and the Jazzahead Award for her contribution to European jazz. For this unique concert, she will be accompanied by guitarist Alain Pierre. They will play a repertoire featuring the great composers with whom Norma has worked throughout her career. They will be joined by singer Barbara Wiernik, a longtime disciple of Norma Winstone. A concert not to be missed !
