Matteo Pastorino Quartet

Matteo Pastorino, an innovative figure on the bass clarinet in Europe, expresses his desire to reconnect with his roots with his latest opus, “LightSide”. He invites us on a journey to the depths of his origins, to the heart of the Mediterranean light, through an original repertoire, conceived for an unusual instrumental formation where the bass clarinet’s singular voice dialogues with the unique sound of Dario Deidda’s semi-acoustic bass (Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jerry Bergonzi...), Domenico Sanna’s piano and Armando Luongo’s drums.
