Sold Out - Lorenzo Di Maio Trio ft. Ensemble UFO - Opening Concert

This innovative project, which was first presented a little over a year ago in the Marni Theatre, immediately evoked enthusiasm. Lorenzo Di Maio decided to add a string quartet to the classical formula of the guitar-double bass-drum trio. For this new journey, Lorenzo relies on the groove and inventiveness of drummer Antoine Pierre and the deep playing and virtuosity of double bass player Sam Gerstmans, musicians with whom he shares a common vision of music that is both lyrical and energetic. The poetry of the artists reveals a repertoire of contrasting atmospheres that builds a bridge between the acoustic purity of the strings and the electric atmospheres of the guitar.
