Jazz Instituto Cervantes - Marta Sanchez Trio

New York-based pianist and composer Marta Sanchez presents Perpetual Void, her first trio album, following the acclaimed SAAM in 2022. This album, born of a dark period in her life, explores existential themes while showcasing Sanchez’s virtuosity at the piano. The album reflects his artistic quest, having overcome personal difficulties including insomnia. The trio creates a fluid, creative dynamic, allowing Marta Sanchez to free herself and develop her musical ideas with freedom. The tracks tackle deep emotions and rhythmic contrasts, including introspective ballads and more complex pieces.
