‘ENEMY’ (Downes/Eldh/Maddren)

ENEMY is a Berlin/London-based piano trio featuring pianist Kit Downes, double bassist Petter Eldh and drummer James Maddren. Their music is described as “intensely ferocious” and “beautifully complex” by the Guardian (UK). Their style is characterized by cryptic rhythms, unstable beats and dazzling reactivity, pushing the technical and creative limits of the musicians ever further. Celebrating their 10th anniversary, they will release a new live album, Fiend (Edition), in April 2025.
