Founded by two musicians from the vibrant jazz scene of Brussels, Di-a-phonie is the result of a unique musical connection. After pursuing distinct musical paths, these talented musicians decided to embark on a shared musical adventure. It was during this exploration that they discovered how the unique sounds of the bass clarinet and the electric guitar intertwined harmoniously. This duo embodies creativity and diversity, with a musical palette that extends from jazz to classical music and rock. Their music is the outcome of original compositions by both members.

Stefan Bracaval and Pierre Anckaert recorded the CD ‘Woodworks’ together back in 2014 with exclusively their own compositions. In the meantime, their music has matured and deepened. In their latest work, the improvisations celebrate the elusive moment. This fleeting instant was captured on the new CD titled ‘Ephémère’ and released on January 2023.
