Carte Blanche à Louise Van Den Heuvel

With a commitment to exploring new musical territory, she has been building a reputation here in Belgium as a versatile and energetic performer over the last few years in groups such as electronic krautjazz project Dishwasher_ and as the live bass player of Zwangere Guy x Lander Gyselinck. For this carte blanche, she decided to team up with good friend and mentor Stéphane Galland, with whom she has worked closely in father-son duo ‘The Gallands’. For the last few years it has been Galland’s approach to rhythm that has been inspirational for Louise’s more groove-oriented music. A unique musical meeting not to be missed !
