Aleph Quintet
Young Talents
Marvin Burlas - violin / Akram Ben Romdhane - oud / Wajdi Riahi - piano / Théo Zipper - bass / Guillaume Malempré - drums
At the cultural crossroads between the world of oriental music in North Africa and the one of jazz improvisation, ALEPH’s music is also influenced by the Sufi culture and its close link between music and trance.
The band is a heterogeneous mix of nationalities and backgrounds : Tunisians, Belgians and French. The 5 musicians gather around the communicative energy of their compositions and cultivate a sense of collective dedication so that everyone can express the best of himself and pass on this passion directly to the public.
