What better than a selection of sweet concerts to share in good company as winter approaches? Sweet concerts, we insist, because this year had something to cringe. Rise of nationalisms, ecological emergencies, police violence, hardening of social laws, repression of freedoms ... not to mention the status and future of culture, more and more abused.

It is not easy to be in the midst of these dizzying maelstroms, so we strive to stay the course, and propose what seems to us the best way to resist: poetic moments, energetic, breathtaking. These moments, Belgium does not miss it. His jazz either.
Also this month, slightly shortened before some holidays, will honor the local wealth. A fine selection of pearls, from the subtle duo of Ivan Paduart and Patrick Deltenre to the twirling Young Talents nights (GOA + Noémie Decroix, two quartets to follow very closely). The trio of Albert Vila and the quatuor of Anne Wolf will complete the picture, with delicacy.

If you want a shot of vitamins, do not miss the always sunny Jazz Station Big Band, which ignites our scene at each of his appearances! And if you run out of gift ideas, do not forget the imminent arrival of the River Jazz Festival with an anthology of magnificent projects: Igor Gehenot and Amaury Faye for a new duo (two pianos on our little stage, as you have never seen it before!), the return of Alexandre Cavaliere in gypsy quintet, the second album of the always excellent Or Bareket, and finally a mega‘carte blanche’ to the drummer Stéphane Galland ( should we still present it?). Online bookings are open, run there!
Dare we wish you a happy new year 2020? Of course!
