Vernissage "The colors of Jazz"

Four artists, from four different artistic worlds, present their works at the Jazz Station.
Blaise Dehon, illustrator, visual artist, draws a lot on the theme of Jazz in his personal artistic work, a sonic but also a visual universe that has long fascinated him. His favorite techniques are brush and Chinese ink, watercolor and charcoal to explore atmospheres and atmospheres in black and white.
My Hanh Hélène Nguyen is a painter. Born in Vietnam in 1962, she trained at the Saigon University of Fine Arts and now continues her artistic work at the Watermael Academy of Fine Arts. In this exhibition, the painter highlights her taste for the freedom of jazz and her beautiful mastery of colors.
Eric Schelstraete, a long time poet and engraver at the Watermael Academy of Fine Arts since 2012, proposes monochrome linocuts directly inspired by the concerts given on the Jazz Station stage. Some musicians may recognize it ...
Finally, Alexandre Nguyen, who was a student at the photography school Agnès Varda (Brussels), will offer some of his shots "Jazz" reworked by the digital tool.
