Millenium Trio (FR/BE)

Yannick Robert is one of the most prolific musicians in terms of projects : whether Jazz or Fusion, Blues or Celtic, this guitarist with inimitable finger technique (Guitar & Bass) comes to present his MILLENIUM TRIO which gives lots of power to the melody, and also to the notion of space, with the use of reverbs which is reminiscent of some productions of the ECM label. He has joined forces with two longtime accomplices, drummer Franck Agulhon and bassist Benoit Vanderstraeten. After a first album titled "Vaci Utca" (Muséa Records / 2005) which had already received the favor of critics, this second recording, "Millenium", released on April 13, 2018 from Alien Beats Records is the album of maturity , with a dozen compositions and two arrangements (Brassens and Presley). Grooves, melodies and unbridled improvisations rub shoulders with the most mesmerizing climates, and make this artistic project a moment of playful sharing.
