Major Tune

Hervé Letor - saxophone / Giuseppe Majorino - piano / Sal La Rocca - double bass / David Tunno - drums

Major Tune was born out of the friendship between two musicians: Giuseppe Majorino and David Tunno. Although they have been playing together in funk, gospel and pop registers for many years, they still find their roots in jazz. They are both trained in the jazz section at the Brussels Conservatory.
For this new project beautiful harmonies and melodies are on the program. Influenced by musicians such as Robert Glasper, Joshua Redman, Pat Metheny and many other contemporary musicians (jazz-funk and pop), we find, both in their playing and in their compositions, a nice mix between their gospel-funk roots and their love for jazz.
They are surrounded by two confirmed musicians, Sal La Rocca on double bass and Hervé Letor on saxophone. The group plays arranged covers and compositions. A group that doesn’t keep you indifferent and will take you on a trip for a while.
