Fabien Degryse & Phil Abraham Duo

These two legends of Belgian jazz have already played together, since Fabien Degryse is an integral part of Phil Abraham’s quartet. They meet today to deliver an intimate duo project.
Fabien has played with all the big jazz names in Belgium, including Philip Catherine and Toots Thielemans. Among other things, he was part of Steve Houben’s folk project, Panta Rhei, between 1993 and 1997 and has been playing in the Soul Poets trio since 1994. Thanks to these projects and many others, he has traveled all over the world: in Europe, Africa, Asia and America.
Phil Abraham, meanwhile, studied classical piano, guitar and harmony, but eventually turned self-taught to jazz and trombone. He has participated in more than sixty albums, including eleven with his own group, for which he has won numerous awards. He has also participated in many recordings and concerts of the big band of Belgian radio (BRT).
