Exhibition "Hommage à Jack Sels"

Self-taught, tenor saxophonist, early bopper, Jack Sels is one of the major figures in the history of jazz in Belgium. His compositions and arrangements testify to his topicality and creativity. In order to survive, he was often forced to store his instrument and his beret against docker’s blueprints. “Just Friends”, the film by Marc-Henri Wajnberg (1993), is freely inspired by his life and his philosophy.
