Ewout Pierreux & Marcus Wyatt Group

Ewout Pierreux is one of those prolific musicians who multiplies the most diverse projects. Toots Thielemans, Bert Joris, Frank Vaganée, Joost Zweegers, Tutu Puoane and many others have made and still call on him. For this quintet, the South African trumpet player Marcus Wyatt joined the adventure. Versatile jazz, this is a music whose influences travel, from contemporary to more traditional, African allusions to Western colors. Marcus is involved in hip hop, R & B and drum’n’bass projects, where he shares the stage with artists such as Manu Dibango, Mulate Astake, Abdullah Ibrahim and Miriam Makabe. South African bass player Romy Brauteseth, Belgian Steven Delannoye and Teun Verbruggen round off this training brilliantly.
