Darren Beckett Trio (UK/BE)

The three musicians of this trio lived in Brooklyn in the 1990s. Darren Beckett spent more than 20 years in the United States before returning home, Ireland and England. He has played with the greatest of jazz (Madeleine Peyroux, Lee Konitz, Kenny Wheeler, Mark Turner,…) but also rock (the Killers, Brandon Flowers,…). His drumming style is between a fiery young Tony Williams (Miles Davis) and a Jeff "Tain" Watts swinging artist (Wynton Marsalis). With a few covers and originals, the public will take great pleasure in discovering the multiple and creative possibilities offered by this trio.
