Camille-Alban Spreng’s Mobilhome

Camille-Alban Spreng - piano / Sam Comerford - saxophone / Vitja Pauwels - guitar / Lennart Heyndels - double bass / Théo Lanau - drums

Following the kitschy adage: music is where your home is, the Mobilhome quintet, led by pianist Camille-Alban Spreng, takes the audience on a rocky path, where bends are dangerous in misty landscapes. This is avant-garde jazz music for nostalgic stoners in remission, or lovers of bird songs. On tenor saxophone, Sam Comerford plays the role of crooner. Vitja Pauwels on guitar, mostly noise. Lennart Heyndels on bass and Théo Lanau behind the drums, in cruise control, make sure that the car does not end its course in a badly placed plane tree.
